Same crew, every single week

“I started Emerald Blade in 2011 with one mower and a pickup. Customers kept telling me the same thing about their old lawn service: a different crew every week, and nobody said when they were coming. So we do the opposite. You get the same crew, a text the day before, and a flat price that doesn't creep up mid-season. If something on your lawn isn't right, call me and I'll come look at it myself.”

Same two guys every Thursday for three seasons now. They text the night before, the edges are razor straight, and they close the gate for our dog every time.

Our backyard was more crabgrass than grass. One season on the fertilization program and the neighbors started asking what we changed.

Five big oaks drop everything in November. They cleared the lawn and beds in one afternoon and hauled it all away. Not a single bag left at the curb.

Years of shade and foot traffic left us with bare patches. They aerated and overseeded in September, gave us a watering schedule, and by April it had filled in thick.

My price came by text with photos of my own yard the day after I asked. It hasn't gone up once all year, which already beats the last two companies I tried.

Freezing rain on a Monday, and our driveway was cleared and salted before I left for work. They do our lawn all summer, so it was an easy call.

FAQ

Straight answers

Still not sure? Call. You'll talk to someone who knows your route

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. Weekly mowing runs month to month through the season. The Season Plan spreads one season into equal monthly payments, and it never renews on its own.

How short do you cut?

We set the height for your grass type, taller for fescue and lower for bermuda, and never take more than a third of the blade at once. Taller grass shades out weeds and handles July heat better.

What happens when it rains on my mow day?

We move to the next dry day, usually within 1–2 days, and text you the new time. We don't mow soaked lawns, because it tears the turf and leaves ruts.

What goes down on my lawn during treatments?

Every visit you get a note listing exactly what we applied and when the lawn is ready for kids and pets again, usually once it has dried.

When should I aerate and overseed?

For Nashville's fescue lawns, early fall is best: warm soil, cooler nights and time for new seed to root before winter. Bermuda lawns do better with aeration in early summer.
